What are we looking for!

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect with 10 - 16 years of software engineering experience and strong expertise in Python, AWS, and modern application architecture. The ideal candidate must have 3 - 4 years of recent, hands-on Python experience, while earlier experience in Java or .NET is welcome. The candidate should be capable of defining scalable, secure, cloud-native application architectures, guiding engineering teams, and bringing practical exposure to AI/GenAI solutions.

Responsibilities :

Technical Architecture & Application Engineering :

- Define end-to-end architecture for scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud-native patterns.

- Translate complex requirements into architecture designs, component blueprints, integration patterns, data flows, and technical specifications.

- Drive Python backend architecture using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask; guide implementation and review designs/code for quality, performance, and maintainability.

- Leverage prior Java/.NET experience to integrate, modernize, and architect applications across heterogeneous technology environments.

AWS & Cloud Architecture :

- Design highly available, fault-tolerant, secure, and cost-optimized AWS solutions using services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, and Step Functions.

- Guide cloud deployment, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, cloud security, monitoring, observability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.

AI/GenAI Architecture :

- Architect AI-enabled applications using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and conversational AI.

- Work with AI platforms/APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and Gemini; understand orchestration, prompt engineering, evaluation, guardrails, and production readiness.

Technical Leadership & Governance :

- Lead architecture reviews, design walkthroughs, technical risk assessments, and resolution of complex engineering challenges.

- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, establish engineering standards, and ensure implementation aligns with architecture, security, and quality expectations.

Qualifications :

- 10 - 16 years of experience in software engineering, application development, and technical architecture.

- 3 - 4 years of strong, hands-on Python development experience in recent years, with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

- Earlier hands-on experience in Java, .NET, or similar enterprise technologies is acceptable.

- Strong hands-on experience in AWS architecture and implementation across compute, storage, databases, networking, security, and integration services.

- Strong understanding of microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native application design.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, and messaging systems.

- Practical exposure to AI/GenAI application architecture, including LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and AI API integrations.

- Strong understanding of application security, scalability, performance, reliability, and observability.

- Experience leading technical design discussions, architecture reviews, POCs, and mentoring engineering teams.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical decision-making skills.
