About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Java Technical Lead to lead a team of developers and drive the design, architecture, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications.

The role requires strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud technologies, API development, and modern engineering practices, along with proven technical leadership and team mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor developers throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring productivity, code quality, and timely delivery.

- Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications.

- Lead technical design and architecture discussions, making informed decisions around performance, scalability, resilience, and delivery timelines.

- Establish coding standards, engineering best practices, and technical documentation.

- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and drive continuous improvement across the team.

- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure quality releases and effective delivery.

- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

- Identify and resolve technical challenges, defects, and performance bottlenecks.

- Handle project estimation, code migration, SLA monitoring, and maintenance planning.

- Drive the adoption of appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve engineering efficiency.

- Contribute to the development of on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid solutions for web and mobile applications.

Tech Stack & Requirements:

- 10 - 15 years of experience in Java development, with proven technical leadership experience.

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Java EE, and Spring WebFlux.

- Good understanding of microservices architecture, reactive programming, and resiliency design patterns.

- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React or similar frameworks.

- Proficiency in SQL and databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

- Hands-on experience with Apigee, SOAP, and RESTful API development.

- Experience with messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with Git, GitLab, GitLab CI, and CI/CD pipeline configuration.

- Knowledge of caching technologies such as Redis, Memcached, or Hazelcast, and application servers such as Tomcat.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira.

- Strong experience in technical design, code reviews, engineering standards, and mentoring development teams.

- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
