Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced OpenStack Developer with strong hands-on experience in OpenStack development, deployment, configuration, and maintenance. The candidate should have good programming skills in Python and experience working with Kolla-Ansible for containerized OpenStack deployments.

Required Technical Skills :

OpenStack :

- Strong hands-on experience with OpenStack development.

- Good knowledge of OpenStack services such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance, Heat, Placement, Swift, Ceilometer, and Gnocchi.

- Experience developing and maintaining OpenStack services and custom drivers.

- Experience with OpenStack upgrades and migration projects.

Programming & Scripting :

- Strong Python programming experience.

- Good knowledge of Bash scripting.

- Experience developing automation scripts for deployment and operations.

Kolla-Ansible :

- Strong experience with Kolla-Ansible.

- Experience deploying and managing containerized OpenStack environments.

- Experience with Kolla-based OpenStack cluster deployment.

OpenStack Community Contribution :

- Active contribution to the OpenStack community.

- Experience with code commits, code reviews, and bug fixes.

- Familiarity with Gerrit, CI/CD workflows, and upstream collaboration.

- Experience submitting patches to upstream OpenStack projects.

Infrastructure & Supporting Technologies :

- Linux (RHEL/CentOS).

- KVM virtualization and libvirt.

- MariaDB/MySQL and Cassandra.

- RabbitMQ and Redis.

- Open vSwitch (OVS), SDN, VLAN, VXLAN, and SR-IOV.

- Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes basics.

- Ansible configuration management.
