About the Role:

We are hiring Senior Backend Engineers for our client Weigandt. We are looking for experienced professionals with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud-native application development.

Technical Skills:

- Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Microservices Architecture

- Couchbase and PostgreSQL

- Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development

- REST API design and development

- OAuth 2.0, authentication, and authorization

- CI/CD, containerization, and deployment practices

- Splunk and New Relic for monitoring, logging, and observability

- Data modeling, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Event-driven architecture

- Kafka or similar messaging platforms

- Performance engineering and scalability optimization

- Infrastructure as Code

- DevOps and SRE practices

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop scalable backend services and microservices.

- Build secure, high-performing REST APIs.

- Implement OAuth-based authentication and authorization.

- Deploy and manage services in Azure environments.

- Establish monitoring, logging, and observability using Splunk and New Relic.

- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
