Role : Salesforce Data Cloud Developer

About this job :

- The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) capabilities that support customer data unification, audience creation, and activation across commercial use cases.

- The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce Data Cloud, leading the design of Data Lake Objects (DLOs), Data Model Objects (DMOs), data harmonization, profile matching, and audience frameworks.

- This role will partner closely with Data Engineering, Business Operations, Commercial Technology, and Marketing teams to ensure scalable and efficient audience management and activation processes.

- The role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud architecture, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to identify opportunities that improve operational efficiency and business adoption.

How you'll make an impact :

- Design, develop, and maintain Data Lake Objects (DLOs) and Data Model Objects (DMOs) within Salesforce Data Cloud to onboard and harmonize data from Databricks and other enterprise data platforms.

- Define and implement Data Cloud data models, relationships, and mapping strategies aligned with business requirements.

- Configure and optimize profile matching, unified customer profiles, calculated insights, and data harmonization processes.

- Serve as a technical advisor to operations teams on audience design, segmentation strategies, and Data Cloud best practices.

- Build and manage audience segments to support commercial, marketing, and customer engagement initiatives.

- Design and implement scalable audience activation frameworks leveraging Data Cloud activation capabilities.

- Support data publishing and activation to downstream platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other approved third-party solutions.

- Drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, and reusable design patterns.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce Data Cloud solutions.

- Develop solution documentation, governance standards, and operational procedures to support platform adoption and sustainability.

What makes you a great fit :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in customer data platforms, CRM technologies, marketing technologies, or data management.

- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) experience.

- Proven experience designing and implementing DLOs, DMOs, and Data Cloud data models.

- Experience onboarding and integrating large-scale datasets from Databricks or similar cloud data platforms.

- Strong understanding of profile matching, data harmonization, customer profile unification, and calculated insights.

- Experience building audience segments and supporting audience activation use cases.

- Ability to work independently and engage stakeholders across business and technology organizations.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
