Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Web Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Windows Server Administration, F5 LTM/GTM, IIS, VMware vSphere, and Akamai technologies. The role involves managing and supporting enterprise web infrastructure, load balancing, CDN services, and application connectivity while ensuring infrastructure availability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities :

- Manage, administer, and support Windows Server infrastructure.

- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Global Traffic Manager (GTM) environments.

- Support IIS web servers and .NET web applications, including application connectivity and performance-related issues.

- Maintain and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments.

- Manage and support Akamai technologies, including CDN, Site Shield, API & App Protector, and DNS.

- Analyse network traffic and troubleshoot connectivity issues using tcpdump and Wireshark.

- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, application, load balancing, and network-related issues.

- Work with Layer 4 - 7 networking, firewalls, DDoS protection, routing, and switching technologies.

- Coordinate with vendors for service delivery, SLA management, contracts, and technical escalations.

- Manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments while ensuring timely issue resolution and service quality.

Requirements :

- 8 - 12 years of experience in web infrastructure, Windows administration, or infrastructure operations.

- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server Administration.

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with F5 LTM and 3 years with F5 GTM.

- Experience supporting IIS web servers and .NET web applications.

- Understanding and working experience with VMware vSphere.

- Hands-on exposure to the Akamai technology stack, including CDN, Site Shield, API & App Protector, and DNS.

- Strong understanding of OSI and TCP/IP networking models.

- Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, routing, switching, firewalls, and Layer 4 - 7 networking.

- Experience analysing network traffic using tcpdump and Wireshark.

- Understanding of DDoS protection, load balancing, and application delivery infrastructure.

- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and vendor management skills.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
